We recently discovered a fun vegetarian line that offer products specifically formulated for self-styled outlaws. Though the offerings are a bit subversive, they’re all vegetarian and cruelty-free. Many of them are actually vegan! They feature a Wild West flair, so you can get your cowgirl or cowboy on and get clean at the same time.
The website, www.liveoutlaw.com, is both hilarious and informative, and jam-packed with tempting items! The witty verbiage will draw you in. Here’s how Outlaw describes their Blazing Saddles Handmade Bar Soap ($10.00): “Outlaws use soap that was used by the cowboys of legend. A soap that makes a married man late for work. A soap that invigorates the outlaw within and drives them to GET.IT.DONE. But make no mistake, nothing but NOTHING gets done before sudsing up and washing until clean.” Whew! Though this dynamic soap boasts the scents of gunpowder, sagebrush, sandalwood, and leather, it’s 100% vegan! We’re not sure how they accomplish this, but we’re going to buy a bar so we can find out.
If you’re hankering for a good liquid soap, try the Calamity Jane Body Wash ($14.00). This sudsy elixir boasts the scents of warm clove, sweet cinnamon, vanilla bean, spicy ginger, whiskey, and a hint of orange. Outlaw’s website assures us that we won’t smell just like Calamity Jane if we use this product, which is certainly a relief. Still, they want to honor Jane’s memory with an offering you’ll love. This vegan product is rated a solid five stars, out of 144 reviews!
You can bet that Outlaw offers a beard care line. What outlaw doesn’t want to groom his facial hair? The Magic Beard and Hair Elixir ($24.00) is a miracle oil that conditions beards with a quick-absorbing combination of jojoba oil and cedarwood oil. You’ll love both the earthy, sensual aroma and the efficacy of this product. It’s handcrafted in small batches in the mountains of Nevada, so you know it’s good! As a bonus, it’s also great for your scalp.
The company offers subscription boxes for folks who really love their line. They also have a subscription soap club, which offers soap “on the regular” for $7.00 a bar. Whether you opt to order from these folks one time, or on a recurrent basis, you’re certain to find at least a couple of items to love! And who doesn’t want to feel like an outlaw while they’re cleansing their body? Note: everything here is vegetarian and cruelty-free, and there are many vegan offerings. But a few products contain beeswax, so be sure to check labels. Giddyup!
