Scotch Naturals Vegan Nail Polish

Spread the love

Scotch Naturals vegan nail polish offers cruelty-free, non-toxic nail polish in 30 vibrant colors. The water-based polish promises to be long lasting, but without the nasty chemicals that are usually included in conventional nail polish, such as acetone, butyl acetate and ethyl acetate. Scotch Naturals nail polish is also free of the heavy metals that are associated with conventional nail polish.

To get an idea of just how natural Scotch Naturals products are, they give a list of all of the common offenders of which their products are free, including: gluten, fragrance, toxins, parabens, allergens and, of course, cruelty. Their nail polish line offers a base coat, color and a top coat, to keep your manicure looking salon-perfect. Their colored nail polishes come in a variety of eye-popping colors, in ranges of pinks, purples, browns, blues and greens. Notably missing is a true red, but we are assuming that is because most reds contain bug-derived carmine, which would make it not a vegan product.

Scotch Naturals vegan nail polish is quite affordable at around $15 per bottle, but they also offer a “Cocktail Trio” kit, which includes three colors of your choice, along with their top coat, On the Rocks, and a nail buffer for $48.99. To add to the fun, they have a full line of nail products for kids, aptly named “Hopscotch”, which features their non-toxic nail polishes and removers in kid-friendly packaging, and additional, sparkly nail colors.

Their vegan soy nail polish remover is also water-based and free of harsh ingredients, such as acetone, that are found in most nail polish removers. Scotch Naturals makes a point to note that there are no actual soy proteins in their polish remover, so it is generally safe for those with soy sensitivities. For those who don’t want to chance it, a plant-based remover is available by request.
