Proposed Cosmetic Animal Testing Ban Law: Interview with Cruelty Free International’s Monica Engebretson

Perhaps some of the biggest news in the effort to stop cruel testing of cosmetics on animals hit the US this week: U.S. Representative Jim Moran (D-VA) introduced the Humane Cosmetics Act, which would eventually ban testing cosmetics on animals in the United States. The bill would allow a one-year phase in period to stop cosmetic testing on animals, followed by a three-year phase in period for a ban on the sale of cosmetics tested on animals.
