Spread the love

Oh My Heavenly Hair vegan beauty products (OMHH) lives by the rule that organic and vegan does not have to mean “crunchy granola,” and in fact, can even be chic. Free of nasty chemicals like sulfates, their vegan and cruelty-free hair products are full of nourishing ingredients such as vitamins, panthenol, herbs and organic botanicals. Following the philosophy of the ancient Indian holistic healing tradition, Ayurveda, OMHH deeply values their non-profit giving programs as a way to be healthy on the outside and the inside.

Gluten Free, Cruelty-Free, Vegan Red Apple Lipstick

As we mentioned in yesterday’s article about cruelty-free, vegan beauty products that are also gluten free, it is National Celiac Awareness Month. We thought we would keep the gluten-free celebration going and got very excited when we found Red Apple Lipstick.

GlamNatural Cruelty-Free, Gluten Free and Vegan Makeup

Spread the love

It is National Celiac Awareness Month, so we thought we’d celebrate it by featuring a cruelty-free, vegan makeup that is also gluten free. It stands to reason that those who are intolerant to ingested gluten also don’t want to have gluten on their bodies, but gluten is found as an ingredient in many commercial makeup lines. Even the cleanest, organic makeup can cause skin issues to someone with gluten intolerance if the makeup contains gluten ingredients!

Herban Cowboy: Vegan, Cruelty-Free Grooming Products for Men

Spread the love

We thought we’d take an opportunity to review some men’s products since we tend to focus so much on products that are mainly intended for women. As tough as vegan, cruelty-free products can be to find for women, they are even tougher to find for men. We were excited to find out about the Herban Cowboy company, devoted to vegan, cruelty-free products for men. Founders Luke and Lisa started the Herban Cowboy on just a few thousand dollars, working out of their log cabin on a dirt road. The entire line was created in their kitchen, with Luke and Lisa both bottling the products by hand.

What makes Lilywhite Organics vegan beauty products different from the rest is that, where others use water, they use 100% aloe vera juice. Aloe vera juice is excellent for the skin, with many benefits including reducing wound healing time, reducing inflammation and stimulating growth of new tissue. Additionally Lilywhite Organics points out that, unlike water, aloe has over 75 vitamins and nutrients.

Pirouette Professional Cruelty-Free, Vegan Makeup Brushes

Spread the love

We absolutely love it when we come across vegan, cruelty-free makeup brushes. We are often surprised when we find companies that boast about their vegan cosmetics, but then sell makeup brushes that contain animal fur. Many people believe that the fur is simply cut off of the animal, but in many cases it is fur that is considered too poor quality for clothing. In cases when it is simply trimmed off of the animal, such as horse hair tools, there is no reliable way of knowing the life that the animals lead.
