It volumizes and cleans hair gently without harsh chemicals or cleansers. The shampoo cleanses the scalp, and the wheat protein builds body resulting in healthy, fuller-looking hair. In addition to wheat and rosemary, the volumizing shampoo contains certified organic calendula extract and certified organic rosemary essential oil with coconut and palm kernel-derived cleansers, along with a vitamin and amino acid complex of arginine, panthenol and vitamin E. As stated earlier, all Avalon Organic products are 100% vegetarian. The company rejects ingredients that are by-products of the meat and fishing industry such as gelatin, tallow, collagen, elastin, squalene, and others.
