According to the Cheeky Maiden Soap Company website, the oils and lye solution are heated separately and then mixed together. Fragrances and herbs are then added. The mixture is poured into wooden log molds and left to sit and saponify for about 24 hours. After it has cooled, Cheeky Maiden removes it from the mold, and the curing process begins.
