Since you’re on this page, and viewing information about vegan and cruelty-free beauty products, we’re going to guess that you’re concerned with brands’ and companies’ ethics. They surely matter to us, which is why we like to shine the spotlight on those brands and companies that are doing amazing things for animals, and for people and the planet.
There are a lot of vegan and cruelty-free beauty and skin care companies selling products right now, and we’re thankful for that. There are also a select few companies that are doing more than putting out vegan and cruelty-free products. There are some that are using their influence, and their money, to get on the front lines and fight for animals – and fight for humans and our environment by helping the Earth stay clean, safe, and joyful.
Paul Mitchell is such a brand. The people behind Paul Mitchell have participated in many charitable actions that have caused us, and others, to take notice. We told you about one of Paul Mitchell’s philanthropic campaigns, Pink Out Loud, which helped raise awareness about breast cancer and the necessity for preventative screening.
Currently, Paul Mitchell is sponsoring a conservation boat in the Sea Shepherd fleet of ships, and the company’s partnership with the marine protection group is making it possible for better guarding of marine life and the oceans that are necessary for all of life’s survival.
Paul Mitchell Sponsors the Farley Mowat
Paul Mitchell has sponsored the purchase of Sea Shepherd’s boat, the Farley Mowat, on behalf of all the hairdressers in the world. The brand’s founder, John Paul De Joria, has been a long-time friend of Sea Shepherd’s leader and founder, Captain Paul Watson, and his dedication to the Sea Shepherd non-profit organization has made it possible for many successful campaigns to be run to stop illegal marine life poaching.
The new Farley Mowat ship proudly displays the logo of John Paul’s Peace Love and Happiness Foundation, an organization that acts as the hub for all of the charitable endeavors forged under the Paul Mitchell brand name.
