The Pacha Soap line is wonderfully diverse, offering a variety of cleansing products that range from bar soaps to froth bombs. The company’s founders visited Peru and experienced a “lightbulb moment.” They noticed that the Peruvian people had a deep connection to the earth, yet had little access to clean water or jobs that paid a living wage. This inspired the CEO to develop a product that would generate money for underserved communities. Every purchase of Pacha helps fuel clean water initiatives and small-scale soap shops in developing countries.
The beautiful website, www.pachasoap.com, is filled with photos of Pacha’s amazing products. It’s impossible to choose just one. Our personal favorite is their whipped soap line. The French Lavender Whipped Soap Scrub ($11.99) is especially divine. Frothy but smooth, this soap gently exfoliates your skin, leaving you feeling tingly and refreshed. The scrub is formulated to leave skin feeling moisturized throughout the day. The sturdy containers are enormous, and their contents last for weeks. And the scent is so heavenly!
Froth bombs are a fun way to add a bit of luxury to your bath. The Coconut Hibiscus Classic Froth Bomb ($5.99) contains hibiscus flower powder, which will impart a tropical sensation to your soaking experience. This five-ounce ball packs a wallop and leaves your skin soft and shiny. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties to help prevent acne and muscle aches and pains.
You really can’t go wrong with one of Pacha’s classic soap bars. It’s hard to choose just one, but we especially like the amusingly named Dirty Hippie soap ($6.00). The robust product contains a mixture of patchouli and nutmeg. The scent is compelling without being overbearing. Your skin will retain the sweetness of nutmeg and the earthy, sensual overtones of patchouli. This soap is a customer favorite!
The Cherry Blossom Soak Scrub ($6.99) is an amazing way to turn your bathtub into a spa. The scrub contains a luscious mixture of cherry blossoms and essential oils. It’s great for sensitive skin, soothing the body and calming your nerves at the same time. Give yourself a treat–you deserve every bit of it.
We were quite impressed, both by Pacha’s mission and their products, and we think you’ll feel the same. Note:
Since they use goat’s milk and honey in some of their products, this is not a vegan line. However, none of the ingredients are tested on animals. Pacha gives back to communities, and utilizes organic ingredients. Order several of their products, and give a few as gifts to friends!
