A recent trip into Trader Joes delighted us with some vegan beauty and skincare products that happened to be pretty cheap. We found quite a few essentials, and some luxury items (only in terms of use, not cost), that we’re going to be sure to keep on our regular shopping list. There were products for use from head to toe, all of which were completely natural too, which is great for the body and for the environment.

The next time you’re shopping in Trader Joes, we recommend you keep a look out for the follow:

Shampoo – There were two kinds of vegan shampoos that stood out to us: the Tea Tree Tingle shampoo made for those with dry scalp and the Spa Nourish shampoo, which is a hydrating shampoo.

Conditioner – For conditioner, there were also the Tea Tree Tingle and Spa Nourish Varieties. We love that these all-natural conditioners were cruelty-free and that they cost less than $4 each.

Toothpaste – At our local trader Joes, there were two choices for toothpastes. We went with the minty baking soda variety, only because we’re not a fan of fennel and myrrh for brushing our teeth.

Bar Soap – Trader Joes bar soaps are once again a steal, at about $2 for a two-pack. These soaps contain tea tree for a fresh and invigorating smell, and the last for a long time without getting gooey.

Vitamin E Oil – If you use vitamin E oil to try to prevent scarring or to lighten scars, pick some up at Trader Joes. It’s pure and it’s inexpensive. We like to use vitamin E oil every night under our eyes to prevent wrinkles.

These are just a few of the vegan goodies you’ll find at Trader Joes. Pop into a store near you, if you have one, and uncover other great products like liquid hand soaps, bath gels, and healing aloe vera gel.
