How Can We Stop People From Ignoring Animal Rights?

Spread the love

There are many safe and non-violent ways to stop people from ignoring animal rights. Many people use education to help spread the word about animal rights while others get involved by using everything from mailing labels and stickers bearing animal rights logos to volunteering at animal rights organizations. If you are comfortable with participating in peaceful protests you can march with animal rights organizations, boycott, or attend protests at or near known companies or entities that ignore animal rights.

You can also help organizations that are on the front lines against people who ignore animal rights by donating money. Just about every animal rights organization has a website and an online form that will accept donations in all amounts. You can donate as little as $1 or as much as $1,000 – it’s up to you.

There are so many animal rights organizations and cruelty free advocates, it would be tough to list them all here, but some of the more well-known animal rights organizations include:

AnimaNaturalis
(ASPCA against animal cruelty)
Animal Aid (UK)
Animal Defense League (ADL)
Animal Equality
Animal Liberation Leagues
Animal Liberation Press Office
Animal Rights Organization Fauna
Anonymous for Animal Rights
Center on Animal Liberation Affairs (CALA)
Coalition to Abolish the Fur Trade (CAFT)
Compassion Over Killing (COK)
Equanimal
Friends of Animals (FoA)
In Defense of Animals (IDA)
International Primate Protection League (IPPL)
Libera!
Massachusetts Animal Rights Coalition (MARC)
National Resource Defense Council (NRDC)
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)
Sea Shepherd Conservation Society
Southern Animal Rights Coalition (SARC)
Western Animal Rights Network (WARN)
World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA)
Uncaged Campaigns

In addition to volunteering and donating money, you can take action to stop people from ignoring animal rights by raising awareness and spreading the word through friends, family, and social networks. You should incorporate animal rights into your daily lifestyle wherever possible. For example, you can choose to purchase products that have not been tested on animals. Just look for the pink and white bunny symbol. Pass the names of all cruelty-free products along to family and friends. If you would like to take your crusade a step further, you can opt for a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. Vegans do not consume animal products in any way, shape or form, and vegetarians do not eat meat.
