Au Naturel Botanicals is run by a family that has roots in living off of the land. The company started back in the mid-1970’s with a woman named Alexandra Avery at the helm. Alexandra grew up in Hawaii before moving to Oregon, where Au Naturel Botanicals makes its products today. She sought to find a skin care product that would protect her English-heritage skin from sun exposure, but she kept coming across chemical-laden products on store shelves.
So, she turned to her garden and began creating her own skin care treatments. She used her skills as an aesthetician, along with a knowledge of herbalism and aromatherapy, to make products that were spa quality and luxurious.
Today, Alexandra resides back in Hawaii. But Au Naturel Botanicals keeps her skin care legacy alive by producing natural, pure products packed with soothing and healing essential oils.
