We’re so excited about the range of vegan haircare products on the market today. There are some amazing shampoos, conditioners, styling gels, and other products available that can make you look great, while keeping animals safe. We thought you might want to know about the vegan haircare brands that we’re thrilled with the most right now. These companies offer a good variety of products for the hair that will let you tend to every part of your haircare routine, while keeping your ethics.
JĀSÖN
The word “Jason” means “healer” in Greek. We think that this name is appropriate for a brand that sells products to heal tired hair and keep hair healthy. The Jason line of haircare products is made with safe botanical ingredients that are never tested on animals. Two of our favorite haircare goodies from the Jason line are the Smoothing Sea Kelp Shampoo and the Sea Kelp Conditioner.
LUSH
LUSH Cosmetics is committed to fighting against animal testing. The brand doesn’t support any companies that use animal ingredients either, which means it gets all of the botanicals for its products from ethical and reputable sources. LUSH’s “Supplier Specific Boycott” states “we will not buy any ingredient from any manufacturer or supplier that tests anything they produce on any animals for any reason.” We love this! And, we love the brands’ The Hair Doctor super-minty conditioner that helps prevent hair tangles.
Giovanni Cosmetics
Giovanni Cosmetics is one of our absolute favorite vegan and cruelty-free brands. This company offers a large range of haircare products, including products for various uses like volumizing, smoothing, and hydrating. We especially love Giovanni Cosmetics’ 2chic Ultra-Moist Dual Action Leave-In Spray, which moisturizes with olive and avocado oil.
All of these vegan haircare products are available online and many of them can be found in Whole Foods Markets. Do you have any other vegan haircare brands that you love? If so, feel free to leave us a comment below.
