Founded in 2006 by Melanie Cruickshank of Canada, DaLish Cosmetics produces cruelty free cosmetics for all skin types.  In addition to offering 100% cruelty free cosmetics, the company takes its mission (to be an ethical company and to lessen its environmental impact) one step further.  DaLish cosmetics uses only fully recyclable product canisters, and the inks on each canister are free of elemental chlorine.  The inks contain post-consumer recycled content as well.  DaLish Cosmetics has signed PETA’s statement of assurance that the company will not use animals for product testing.  While DaLish Cosmetics is vegetarian friendly, it may not be 100% vegan friendly.  A few DaLish products contain honey.

DaLish Cosmetics uses vitamins A, B, C, E, Oligopeptide and hyaluronic acid as essential ingredients in its products.  Other ingredients range from honey and coconut to Dead Sea salts.  Ingredients such as jojoba oil and cherry oil are also used.  These ingredients can be found in DaLish eye makeup, lipgloss, lip treatments, blushes and lip balms, as well as foundations, body lotions and scrubs.  DaLish Cosmetics also sells day & night face creams and anti-aging eye gel.
